Technical Training on On-Farm Water Management (OFWM)

Training in On-Farm Water Management (OFWM) techniques for field staff at ................ level will constitute an important aspect of the programme. The .............. (Institute/Agency to be identified) has a special mandate and experience in training of agricultural staff of both governmental and non-governmental organizations.

In order to mobilize their experience and expertise, the training programme will be required:

• to provide technical training courses for Water Control Component field staff in relevant OFWM techniques;
• to develop training materials and field manuals on relevant OFWM techniques;
• to evaluate the impact and constraints of the OFWM techniques in the field.

Further details and conditions for the contractual arrangements will be worked out by the National Team during the Participatory Rural Appraisal surveys.
