Project phases

SWALIM's activities are managed through project phases usually running for between 1 and 4 years per phase. During each phase, specific tasks are identified and mapped out in a logical framework through which overall impact and outcome and specific outputs are identified. Each output is then broken down into specific activities geared to ensuring the output is acheived. The activities have targets assigned to them that are measurable and time-bound. Each new phase builds upon the acheivements of the previous phase to ensure that the information produced is useful in supporting sustainable natural resource management and addressing the challenges that exist at a particular time.
